For those who aren’t familiar with Befrienders, Befrienders is a not-for-profit organisation that provides emotional support to people who are lonely, in distress, in despair, and having suicidal thoughts.
Starting August 1, 2019, calls to Befrienders are free for users of Celcom, Digi, Maxis, Telekom, TIME dotcom, U Mobile, Webe, and YTL Communications; 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – without charge.

Face to face
If you think you feel the need to meet us face to face, you can call them at the hotline to make an appointment.
Befrienders KL reaches out to the community, particularly to groups at high risk of suicide to provide on-site emotional support, talks, workshop sessions and seminars on listening skills, stress, suicide prevention, capacity building and mental health awareness.
